What each component does here
The WiiM Ultra sends digital audio over USB. The McIntosh C2600 performs digital-to-analog conversion, provides tube preamplification, and controls listening volume. Each B200 powers one Tannoy D700 speaker. This is the owner-confirmed signal path—not an independently measured performance claim.
Jeremy had owned the Tannoy D700 pair for about six months when this profile was confirmed. This page documents that ownership and the current setup; it is not yet a sonic review of the speakers or a recommendation to buy them.
A documented starting point, not a laboratory
This is a home listening room, not a calibrated laboratory. Exact speaker positions, listening distance, acoustic measurements, and downstream interconnect details are not documented here. Room dimensions and the equipment list provide context, not a promise that another room will sound the same.
Future review articles will identify any change to the reference system, connections, gain settings, or processing. Where measurements are actually performed, the article will describe the method and its limits separately from listening impressions.
